greatness knows no handicap

The gentle rustle of leaves,
When breeze passes through trees,
The music of flowing cascade,
And the song of a lark,
Are all great things.

Greater still is the man,
Who knows how to stand,
To pursue their desire and passion,
With no trouble and acute perception.

Diseases are there to kill,
But to succeed is more powerful will,
When voice fails and hand shakes,
Epilepsy could be the source
For anguish, but it did not.

From wise Socrates to Joan of arc,
From ambitious Alexander to popular Dickens,
From aggressive Napoleon to gifted orator Caesar,
From literal Tennyson to dreamy Lewis Carroll,
From Vincent Van Gogh to dynamic Jonty Rhodes,
All paid penalty as epilepsy.

Glimpses of their life,
Times of these legends,
Their true revelation of the dreams,
Outdo epilepsy through the ages,
Proved and shall always prove,
Greatness knows no handicap.
